our history
Extrunorte was founded in 2016 by Rafael Sousa, an entrepreneur with over 20 years’ experience in the sector. After 20 years managing a company set up as a partnership that manufactured flexible packaging mainly for the food, textile and pharmaceutical industries. Extrunorte was created to meet the entrepreneur’s desire to embrace new projects and objectives, with a policy of greater proximity to employees, customers and suppliers and the community in general.

new equipment
During the pandemic, Extrunorte covered a niche market with the development and production of Personal Protective Equipment and, during this phase, in addition to the rest of production, the level of work increased significantly.

new facilities
Faced with growing needs, in 2022 we inaugurated a new manufacturing unit, which allowed us to double our production capacity by acquiring new extrusion, printing, cutting and recycling machines.
